For over 25 years, Sébastien Mayor has been passionate about orthotics. As an experienced specialist, he works in Lausanne at the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) and at Hirslanden Clinique Bois-Cerf, and has been part of the NUMO team since July 2020.
With his craftsmanship and fascination for human biomechanics, Sébastien demonstrates every day that orthotics are by no means only for older people or something that makes the foot “lazy.” On the contrary: since the start of his career, he has also helped well-known top athletes prevent injuries and repeatedly achieve peak performance. Sébastien knows that providing orthotics is a demanding craft whose complexity is often underestimated. That makes words of thanks from patients or athletes who leave their mark on NUMO’s ‹ Wall of Fame › even more rewarding.
In his private life, Sébastien finds balance playing ice hockey, on the golf course, or with family and friends. And which sports star would be delighted to receive a NUMO consultation from him? Golf legend Tiger Woods. Of course, he would then have to sign the Wall of Fame too!
