Frequently Asked Questions About Orthopedic Shoe Insoles
The price for orthopedic insoles from NUMO ranges between CHF 300.– and 400.–, depending on the design and complexity. Billing for the insoles is governed by the tariff agreement of the Orthopedics Association.
This includes a fitting appointment, the first check-up within three months of delivery, and a three-month adjustment guarantee.
Additionally, a gait analysis is required, which costs CHF 250.– and is a prerequisite for creating custom insoles.
The gait analysis takes approximately 60 minutes and is conducted on a treadmill at NUMO in Dietikon.
The gait analysis at NUMO in Dietikon includes the following:
– Static assessment of the feet, knees, hips, and spinal alignment on a mirrored table
– Video analysis on a treadmill to evaluate the dynamic rolling behavior of the foot and
mechanical force transmission to the knees, hips, and pelvis during walking or jogging
– Oral explanation of the video images, including a copy for you
– Measurement of dynamic pressure distribution using RSscan Footscan®
