With his vast experience, unwavering curiosity, and great enthusiasm, Laurent Hoffmann has taken various paths in his career: from orthopedic technician to working in the research department of an international sports company, to pioneering work in running analysis. That he is now the founder and CEO of NUMO seems almost logical. Here, everything comes together: his knowledge of orthopedic technology, biomechanics, and the shoe industry.
When things get complex, Laurent is often the first point of contact at NUMO – whether for elite and professional athletes or special individual cases. Every consultation centers around the question: What solution truly helps this person? Often, this means improvising, trying new things, and forging paths that aren't found in any textbook. It is particularly motivating for him when his clients can walk pain-free again thanks to his work, or when athletes improve their performance. Privately, Laurent remains what he is at heart: a craftsman. Whether restoring old cars, tinkering, or hiking – he loves to try things out, rearrange, and rethink.
