Star lineup at the three-day opening ceremony

At the beginning of October, we unveiled the curtain: For three days, we offered our customers and business partners insights into the NUMO cosmos. Among the participants were sports stars Yasmin Giger, Sandra Stöckli, and Kariem Hussein.

Praise and funny insights at the welcome

"For a long time, I didn't really know what our tenants on the ground floor were doing," admitted Jörg Weber, founder and chairman of the board of Chicorée, during his opening speech. "But I saw high-caliber athletes coming and going at NUMO." For some time now, the Dietikon entrepreneur has been part of NUMO. Visibly impressed with the result, he handed over the microphone to one of these prominent clients: Kariem Hussein.

The doctor and hurdler is an ambassador for NUMO and has been using our orthopedic solutions for over ten years. He revealed to the guests that the secret of NUMO also lies in Laurent Hoffmann's high standards. A "not sooo bad" from Laurent can actually be interpreted as "now it's perfect." Under this motto, Kariem Hussein said, hopefully, the inauguration of the new infrastructure will also be remembered – and so he passed the microphone to the city president.

Tech demo and good vibes in the festival tent

"I wish for more companies like NUMO in Dietikon," praised Roger Bachmann, highlighting the team's spirit of innovation and sharing a personal anecdote about his daughter, whose path as a middle-distance runner also led to the Swiss Championship through NUMO. Together with Laurent Hoffmann, the city president ceremoniously pulled back the curtain from the window facade, revealing the indoor sprint track where U20 European champion Yasmin Giger performed a demo sprint.

While some guests took a tour of the infrastructure, others seized the opportunity to mingle with stars like para-cycling athlete Sandra Stöckli. Meanwhile, a live band kicked off a long party night with a DJ and dancing guests in the festival tent.

Future sounds from biomechanics

Friday and Saturday were all about biomechanics. Various speakers from elite sports and orthopedic technology shared their key insights and offered our guests in-depth insights into their fields.

Numerous visitors took the opportunity to attend the inspiring lectures or have the NUMO team explain the high-tech infrastructure and our craft. The overwhelming feedback and countless contacts we made over the three days motivate us more than ever to open the next chapter of our company's history.
